Franki Bagdade Therapy (FBT) is a solo practice, owned and operated by,
Franki Bagdade M. Ed. LLMSW.
Franki's therapeutic style is collaborative; together, you will craft your therapy goals. She uses many methods in her practice, including CBT,
DBT strategies, sensory need education and integration, calming and mindfulness techniques, ADHD/Executive Functioning strategies, emotional regulation tools, and more.
Franki specializes in Neurodivergent Individuals, including but not limited to those with ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety. In addition, Franki works with parents in need of support and offers family therapy through a "Collaborative
Problem-Solving lens.

Does Franki work with children?
Franki Bagdade Therapy is NOT accpeting new pediatric clients at this time.
Why should I choose Franki Bagdade Therapy?
Franki works with a variety of adults in her practice from young adults navigating life after high school to adults balancing careers and parenting. Franki also works frequently with those who have received new ADHD and/or autism diagnoses and want help navigating this life change, interpreting testing reports, connecting to resources, and general guidance in their next steps. Franki also works with parents who need support, guidance, and resources to parent children with additional needs and/or who are overwhelmed with parenting in today's world.

What is Franki's Background and Training?
Franki graduated from Michigan State University in 2000 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, in 2007 from Wayne State University with a Master's in Special Education, and in 2022 with a Master's in Clinical Social Work. Franki currently holds an independent license in clinical social work in Michigan. Franki is also a certified K-12 teacher and owns an educational consulting and ADHD Coaching company, FAAB Consulting.
Franki has worked with children, teens, and adults with disabilities and/or mental health challenges for over two decades in the classroom, as a consultant, as an assistant camp director, and so much more. In addition, she provides professional development and training for educators, mental health professionals, and camp staff on neurodiversity,
disability inclusion and behavior.
In 2021, Franki published her first book, "I Love My Kids, But I Don't Always Like Them!" and it won several awards. In addition, Franki enjoys freelance writing and being a guest on podcasts and the news media. You can read more about Franki's Story here.
